Bank of Hawaii is now accepting applications for the I Kinometi Para I Kumunid\u00e5t I Isl\u00e5-ta Small Business Revitalization and Development Grant for projects that stimulate small business development and economic activity in Saipan. Small business owners with a successful track record in business operation or management and who have not yet been a recipient of the grant are invited to submit applications by Friday, Aug. 10, 2018. Five grants up to $5,000 each will be awarded. <\/p>\n
Bank of Hawaii established the grant program in 2012 to promote new businesses and to encourage existing small businesses on the island of Saipan to expand. <\/p>\n
If not already completed, grant awardees are required to successfully complete one of the following on or before Aug. 10, 2018:<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tCNMI Small Business Development Center small business training program<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tBank of Hawaii Smart Money small business financial education training <\/p>\n
Grant awardees are also expected to report to the bank on how the grant has made a difference to their business and the community by Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018.<\/p>\n
