{"id":280620,"date":"2018-07-24T06:06:22","date_gmt":"2018-07-23T20:06:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=280620"},"modified":"2018-07-24T06:06:22","modified_gmt":"2018-07-23T20:06:22","slug":"ufo-fundraiser-for-deceased-cw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ufo-fundraiser-for-deceased-cw\/","title":{"rendered":"UFO fundraiser for deceased CW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The United Filipino Organization has launched a fundraising drive on behalf of the family of a Philippine national who recently died of breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, UFO sought the community\u2019s support by donating any amount and dropping it at designated donation boxes.<\/p>\n<p>UFO said it will only endorse donations at designated dropbox locations and other organizations. A family representative listed will be the sole contact for each donations box and the only representative allowed to pick up the boxes.<\/p>\n<p>Jeanette Vistan Capayas, 48, was originally from Bulacan, the Philippines and left behind three children and a husband. Her son, Jonathan an upcoming senior at Marianas High School, said their mother\u2019s death is a tragedy for the family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe had a really hard time breathing already. I guess her organs were already failing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Capayas said his mother was admitted to the hospital a week before her demise and doctors had to administer morphine to soothe her pain.<\/p>\n<p>Nightly rosaries are being held at the San Antonio Church with the help of the Sto.
