The Society for Human Resource Management NMI Chapter invites its members, associated HR and management staff, and interested members of the public to attend its next general membership meeting on Thursday, July 26, 2018.\u00a0This lunch meeting will be held at the\u00a0Pacific Islands Club Charley\u2019s Charley\u2019s Cabaret tomorrow, July 26, 2018, from\u00a011:30am\u00a0to\u00a01:30pm.<\/p>\n
The meeting will feature assistant attorney general Bobbi Cepeda, who will discuss employer obligations under the newly-enacted CNMI Public Law 20-60 \u201cState Directory of New Hires.\u201d <\/p>\n
This presentation will provide information on reporting requirements and the processing of income withholding orders for child support under this new law, which came into effect in June 2018. The presentation is open to the public and will provide information for employers, managers, and HR professionals and staff.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
