{"id":280710,"date":"2018-07-25T06:12:22","date_gmt":"2018-07-24T20:12:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=280710"},"modified":"2018-07-25T06:12:22","modified_gmt":"2018-07-24T20:12:22","slug":"nmc-info-sessions-next-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/nmc-info-sessions-next-week\/","title":{"rendered":"NMC info sessions next week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Individuals interested in furthering their education or expanding their income potential are encouraged to attend one of two Northern Marianas College information sessions next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The first session will be on\u00a0Tuesday, July 31, 2018, and the second session will be held on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018. The sessions will cover topics that include degree programs, financial aid options, the Prior Learning Assessment program, admissions, and other topics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both info sessions will be held from\u00a05:30pm to 6:30pm\u00a0at NMC\u2019s Cafe Proa, located at the college\u2019s As Terlaje campus. Cafe Proa is located near the NMC Bookstore.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees of the information sessions will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC&#8217;s upcoming fall 2018 semester, a savings of about $75.<\/p>\n<p>Roundtrip shuttle service will be provided from Tanapag and Kagman on each day that the info session is held. Pick up times from Tanapag Middle School and the Kagman Market will be at\u00a04:30pm, and the return dropoff time from NMC back to Tanapag and Kagman will be at\u00a07pm.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about registering for classes for the upcoming fall 2018 semester or to apply for admission, contact the NMC Office of Admissions and Records at 237-6768\/6769\/6771 or visit\u00a0www.marianas.edu.
