{"id":280734,"date":"2018-07-25T06:00:06","date_gmt":"2018-07-24T20:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=280734"},"modified":"2018-07-25T06:00:06","modified_gmt":"2018-07-24T20:00:06","slug":"navy-awards-japan-funded-contract-or-marine-corps-relocation-to-guam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/navy-awards-japan-funded-contract-or-marine-corps-relocation-to-guam\/","title":{"rendered":"Navy awards Japan-funded contract for Marine relocation to Guam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM<\/strong>\u2014Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific awarded yesterday a $56.7 million firm-fixed price contract to Caddell-Nan a joint venture of Montgomery, Ala., for the construction of a new outpatient facility at Apra Harbor on Naval Base Guam.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of work for the project includes a single level outpatient facility constructed of reinforced concrete with slab-on-grade foundations, and with all components such as exterior walls, windows, roofing, mechanical and electrical systems compatible with the Guam environment and design standards. Facilities include administration, primary care\/family practice medical home, optometry clinic, physical therapy, industrial hygiene\/preventative medicine, dental clinic, logistics and common areas. Parking for privately owned vehicles and emergency vehicles are included.
