Anyone can post a public event, and everyone can click to see what’s happening this week and in the month’s ahead,” said Marianas Visitors Authority marketing manager Broc Calvo.

The Marianas Calendar is part of the MVA’s new English-language website launched this month. Gov. Ralph DLG Torres has also endorsed the calendar as the official online calendar for the posting of all government events and activities that the public is invited to participate in.

“One of the many beauties of the Marianas is that there is always something to do for everyone, locals and visitors alike,” said Torres. “The Marianas Calendar will be an important tool that everyone can access in order for tourists to plan out their visits and for our residents to stay informed about the exciting things happening around the Marianas. I commend MVA for their hard work on this tremendous undertaking.”

“We’re excited to be working with the other government departments and agencies to expand public awareness of their many services and agencies through The Marianas Calendar,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “Whether it be educational outreach on the environment, a health walk, a cultural exhibition, a fundraiser, a sporting event, or more, these are opportunities to both engage more locals and enrich the experience of visitors. Training, seminars, and other activities geared more toward the local population are also welcome. The Marianas Calendar is the new go-to online calendar for all events on Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and the Northern Islands, and we invite everyone to utilize the calendar post their upcoming events.”

For more information, find The Marianas Calendar at www.mymarianas.com.
