MONROYO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The usual two-day playing schedule in the 2014 Saipan Little League Baseball and 2014 White Coconut Classic Tennis Tournament was extended last week.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the Saturday and Sunday games, the Major division of the SLLB also held matches at the Miguel \u201cTan Ge\u201d Basa Pangelinan Ballfield last Monday with the Falcons and IP&amp;E Rockies routing the Ol\u2019Aces and the Jets, respectively. The Falcons and the Rockies gained twin wins last week, as they also prevailed over separate foes during a weekend game, while the Little Legals, Comets I, Laolao Bay, and the Enforcers bagged victories against their respective opponents.<\/p>\n<p>Over at the Francisco \u201cTan Ko\u201d Palacios Ballfield, there were back-to-back Junior League action with the six teams entered in the division playing last Sunday and Monday. The Enforcers won twice to keep the division lead, while the four other squads\u2014Jets, Fielders, Falcons, and Comets\u2014had a split, and the Red Sox went 0-2.<\/p>\n<p>In the Senior League, the Red Sox were victorious, along with the Enforcers and the Jets.<br \/>\nVictory was also on the side of Luke Beling and Joshua Abragan, who clinched the mixed-up doubles crown in the White Coconut Classic during the third and last day of the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Jake Lee, Luther Lizama, Rintaro Miyawaki, Michael Ren, Mikayla Lopez, Tania Tan, Conatsu Kaga, and Erika Tuttle joined Beling and Abragan on the winner\u2019s list of this year\u2019s Coconut Classic.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in other tournaments last week, Marianas High School remained unbeaten in the MISO boys caging, while Grace Christian Academy ended MHS\u2019 streak in the girls volleyball.<\/p>\n<p>Still in volleyball, professional players from the U.S. and Japan started arriving last week for the Marianas Cup Beach Volleyball Festival.
