(MCS)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Over 300 middle school and high school students participated in Mount Carmel School\u2019s Activities Fair last Wednesday, Aug. 22. <\/p>\n<p>Held every year and sponsored by the school\u2019s Student Council, students were able to sign up to various extracurricular activities available at the school.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s fair featured booths from the school\u2019s athletic teams, Theatre Club, VOX Knights, and many new clubs such as the Chamorro Club, Junior State of America, and the 4-H Club.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The students were very excited about the various clubs available to them. Sophomore Brandee Hunter said, \u201cI signed up to five clubs because I\u2019m really interested in joining them. I\u2019ve seen the work they did in the past, and I felt very inspired.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also a big year for the school\u2019s athletic teams. When asked about the upcoming volleyball season, Karen Sato, a senior, said, \u201cWe couldn\u2019t get championships last year, so we\u2019re going to train and work harder as a team to bring it back this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Theatre Club is set to produce a musical called Tasi, which was inspired by Disney\u2019s Moana.
