Despite the early victory, GCA 1 and SCS still dueled in the third set to give players from opposing teams more time to play and the latter somehow showed improvement before the Eagles recorded a 25-17 victory.

Kat Saures led GCA’s easy win over Saipan Community after registering 7 points off five aces and two spikes. Hye Jin Elliot, Soleil Lamar, Juruel Magtalas, Kean Pajarillaga, and Praise Woo also scored in the Eagles’ sweep of SCS.

In the other game at the Eagles turf, GCA 2 also made short work of Mt. Carmel School, winning after only two sets.

Over at the SDA court in Chalan Kiya, the host team topped Agape 2. SDA recorded a 25-16 victory in the first set and clinched the win right in the second set after posting a double-digit spread, 25-15. Then in the third set, SDA was still at it, registering a 15-6 triumph.

SDA capitalized on the erratic plays of Agape 2 to dominate the match.

Meanwhile, SDA was going for its second win yesterday, as it was scheduled to host Agape 1.

Today, GCA 1 and 2 part ways as they collide in the 3:30pm game. Also set to meet this afternoon are SCS and SIS at the former’s court in Susupe, while MCS will host Agape 2 at its court in Chalan Kanoa.

For the second week of the league, Agape 1 will take on SCS on Sept. 4 at the Agape court in Middle Road, while the two other matches on Tuesday will feature SDA versus MCS at SDA and Agape 2 against GCA at the Torchbearers’ court.

For the Wednesday play date, two games will take place with SIS hosting GCA 2 and MCS doing the same when it faces Agape 1. For next Thurday’s matches, the pairing are as follows: GCA 1 vs SDA; SIS vs Agape 2; and GCA 2 vs SCS.

Grace Christian Academy was perfect in the opening day, while Seventh Day Adventist also won…

[5
698,22515,1034,926
post-283457","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-gca","tag-genesis-prieto","tag-scs","tag-sda
["GET
