(MINA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Marianas Legal Strategy Group, LLC has recommitted its Emerald-level sponsorship again this year for the Micronesian Islands Nature Alliance\u2019s Green Gala on Sept.14 at the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort &amp; Spa Saipan.  <\/p>\n<p>They join numerous other corporate supporters of MINA, with the philosophy that as residents and business owners on Saipan, all share in the common responsibility of conserving and protecting our natural resources.<\/p>\n<p>MLSG partners Marcia Schultz and Sean Frink commended MINA for the work they do to engage and educate the public about recycling and keeping the ocean free from debris.  \u201cThe work that MINA undertakes has a driving influence that potentially will change the negative attitude of \u2018Not my problem\u2019 to one that embraces \u2018My world, my problem,\u2019\u201d said Shultz.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Green Gala theme is the \u201cInternational Year of the Reef\u201d and honors will be bestowed upon the winners of the Environmental Hero Award, Green Business of the Year Award, and Environmental Champion Award. <\/p>\n<p>Along with the celebration of the environment, the Green Gala raises funds to keep MINA\u2019s programs progressing, such as building capacity for the marine debris prevention program, Schools for Environmental Conservation, and the Tasi Watch Program.<\/p>\n<p>Doors open at 6pm, and overflow parking is available to guests at the American Memorial Park.
