Duenas was also charged with assault and battery that he did not plead guilty to. <\/p>\n<p>If Duenas had not pleaded guilty and had gone to trial and had been convicted of the charges against him, he could have faced a maximum sentence of one year and six months. <\/p>\n<p>After the plea agreement, Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph Camacho sentenced Duenas to a maximum of six months in prison without the possibility of parole, probation, early release, work release, or weekend release.  <\/p>\n<p>Duenas was also given credit for the 103 days he had already served in prison. <\/p>\n<p>Duenas\u2019 bench trial that was set for Sept. 24, 2018, was also waived by the court. <\/p>\n<p>On May 26, 2018, Duenas was arrested after an altercation between him and another individual. <\/p>\n<p>Duenas was represented by his court-appointed counsel, Charles P.
