Arnel \u201cNeil\u201d Metran is Aqua Resort Club\u2019s new food and beverage manager.<\/p>\n
Metran, who has been on island for 30 years, has been at his post at ARC since August this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am happy to be back in the hotel business after resting for more than a year. I miss the hotel management life because I\u2019ve been in the business since 1982, starting with the Hyatt in the Philippines,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Since Christmas is just around the corner, Metran said that many exciting things are coming as early as September at Aqua Resort Club. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe plan to make the months of September, October, November and December as months where people have so many things to look forward\u2026when they come to Aqua.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are proud to say that [Kevin\u2019s The Prime Rib and Seafood Restaurant] is a league of it own on Saipan. \u2026Aside from the dishes, we are also highlighting the hands-on service of the crew,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
According to Metran, Aqua Resort Club recognizes the big Korean community on Saipan. \u201cThat\u2019s why on Sept. 24, 2018, from 11am to 2am, we are celebrating Chuseok\u2014a Korean Thanksgiving.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone is welcome because, aside from traditional Korean food and delicacies that will be served, a Korean performance by Jennifer Dance will highlight the event. Local resident rates are $19 for adults and $9 for children,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
October will be celebrated as a month of appreciation for Kevin\u2019s Prime membership card holders. When they dine at Kevin\u2019s, they will automatically get a free bottle of Robert Mondavi wine, in addition to the Prime member perk of getting a 20-percent discount.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also bringing back the Halloween Pool Party\u2026on Oct. 31 and guests will be entertained by a DJ playing dance music while they enjoy night swimming. We will also have trick-or-treating in the afternoon at the lobby for the children who would drop by,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
