\nThere was an emergency water service interruption in the San Vicente and Papago areas yesterday due to a leak on the 2-inch water mainline fronting IT&E\u2019s substation in Kagman.
\nAs a result of the damaged waterline, water caould not be distributed to the Kagman booster station that supplies water to the Papago, San Vicente and Dandan water tanks.
\nWater operations personnel made the necessary repairs and expect to complete work by noon yesterday and water services were expected to be available by 6pm last night. However, water pressure was expected to be low. Customers should expect normal water pressure this morning at 6am.

\nIn Guam, the Guam Animals In Need, or GAIN, and the Humane Society International held a free clinic yesterday morning for animals injured by Typhoon Mangkhut.
\nThree visiting veterinarians from Humane Society International staffed the GAIN clinic, along with GAIN\u2019s team of veterinary technicians. People were urged to bring their animals to the GAIN animal shelter in Yigo.
\nThe clinic was free, but GAIN welcomed donations (cat food, dog food, kitty and puppy food, kitty litter, dry erase markers, towels, and cleaning supplies).

\nGuam Delegate Madeleine Z. Bordallo (D-Guam) wrote President Donald Trump yesterday to request that he approve a federal emergency declaration for Guam following Typhoon Mangkhut.
\nA federal emergency declaration would allow federal resources to be made available to assist Guam and local families and businesses with recovery efforts.
\nBordallo requested that the President direct FEMA to authorize hazard mitigation, public assistance, and individual assistance for Guam.\u00a0
\n\u201cA federal emergency declaration would make federal resources available to assist our community with recovery efforts after Typhoon Mengkhut,\u201d said Bordallo in a statement \u201cI appreciate FEMA\u2019s support in deploying personnel to help coordinate recovery efforts. I encourage the President to also approve for federal financial assistance to be made available so that our families and entire community can get back to normal as soon as possible.\u201d
