The Gubernatorial Debate and U.S. Delegate Debate that will be hosted this week and next by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Marianas College will be streamed live, to enable people to watch both events via the internet.<\/p>\n
Velma Palacios, chamber board president, said that tickets to both candidates\u2019 debates sold out almost immediately after the announcement of the event. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe sold 300 tickets for each debate and are pleased with the response from our community. This is a very important event that will allow community stakeholders to hear from candidates pursuing the highest seats in the CNMI,\u201d she said. \u201cWe understand the demand for this debate and are excited that the Northern Marianas College has graciously offered to livestream the event to reach more people in the CNMI.\u201d <\/p>\n
The U.S. Delegate Debate is slated tomorrow, Sept. 20, 2018, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center from 6pm to 8:30pm. It will be livestreamed through the Northern Marianas College Facebook Page: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/NMC.Proa\/ and Saipan Chamber of Commerce group page: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1614723608777186\/?ref=br_rs. <\/p>\n
Daily updates on the debates are posted to both pages. <\/p>\n
