GCA 1 is ahead by two wins against Agape 1 (5-2), while GCA 2 (4-2), Mt. Carmel School (4-2), SIS (4-4), Saipan Community School (3-5), Seventh Day Adventist (1-6) and Agape 2 (0-7) complete the rankings, which did not include results of yesterday’s matches.

Agape 1 moved back to the No. 2 spot after a similar two-set victory over Agape 2, 25-16, 25-22.

GCA 2 also climbed up to the ladder following its triumph over SDA at the Eagles court. GCA 2 won both sets in convincing fashion, 25-7, 25-10.

Over at the Mt. Carmel court in Chalan Kanoa, the Knights had their four-game winning streak snapped by the surging SCS. The visiting squad eked out a 25-22 win over Mt. Carmel in the first set, while the host team fought back in the second with a 25-21 triumph. Then in the deciding third set, SCS completed the upset after another close victory, 15-10. SCS notched its third straight win after dropping its first five matches.

Meanwhile, SCS was scheduled to face the leading GCA 1 in last Wednesday’s game, while SIS collided with Agape 1 for their second meeting this season. Yesterday, Agape 2 was trying to break into the win column, as it was set to meet SDA at the latter’s court, while GCA 2 and Mt. Carmel had their second faceoff.
