(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>HARMON, Guam<\/strong>\u2014A week after Typhoon Mangkhut pummeled through the Marianas, residents are still in need of help as the try to rebuild their lives following the storm\u2019s destruction. IT&amp;E is working to help victims of the typhoon by opening a text-to-donate line, donating supplies, and extending September\u2019s payment deadlines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Typhoon Mangkhut lashed Rota and Guam with heavy rains and sustained winds estimated at more than 100 mph on Sept. 10. Federal and local government agencies continue to assess the damage done.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTyphoon Mangkhut is a reminder that the strength of our island communities lies in the willingness of our people to help each other in times of need,\u201d said Danny Daniel, senior manager of Brand and Public Relations, IT&amp;E. Working hand in hand, we can help our islands recover.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>IT&amp;E has opened a text-to-donate line for its subscribers to help give relief to victims of the typhoon.
