{"id":28524,"date":"2014-02-26T09:37:20","date_gmt":"2014-02-26T01:37:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tribune.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=28524"},"modified":"2014-02-26T09:37:20","modified_gmt":"2014-02-26T01:37:20","slug":"17-month-old-boy-drowns-swimming-pool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/17-month-old-boy-drowns-swimming-pool\/","title":{"rendered":"17-month-old boy drowns in swimming pool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 17-month old boy drowned in the swimming pool of his home in Papago last Thursday, the Department of Public Safety disclosed yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>DPS police spokesman Travis Hurst said that due to the nature of the incident, the victim and the family\u2019s identity will not be released at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Hurst said the Division of Youth Services is currently investigating the case.<\/p>\n<p>DPS received a 911 call about a drowning at a residential pool on Thursday at 2:52pm.<\/p>\n<p>DPS Fire medics responded and attempted to resuscitate the boy but were unsuccessful.
