Customer Appreciation Basketball League last Tuesday at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>Mel Capalad and Edward Armia teamed up in hitting baskets in streaks to lift Coca-Cola to its fist victory in three games. Capalad fired a game-high 33 points, while Armia contributed 30.<\/p>\n<p>The duo combined for 17 of their squad\u2019s total points to hand Coca-Cola a 22-19 advantage in the first quarter. Capalad scored the team\u2019s first 5 markers, while Armia had the last 8 in the opening frame. Capalad also made Coca-Cola\u2019s first two baskets in the second canto and finished the half with 18, while Armia added 6 to come up with 16 at the break, which saw Coca-Cola on top by double figures, 45-33.<\/p>\n<p>Coca-Cola\u2019s 1-2 punch was still on target in the third, as the squad kept the twin-digit advantage, 59-49, entering the final canto.  Capalad and Armia scored all, but one of their team\u2019s basket in the penultimate frame.<\/p>\n<p>Then in the fourth quarter, Capalad closed out strong, making 10 points to foil M&amp;R\u2019s comeback bid.
