{"id":287983,"date":"2018-11-05T06:06:30","date_gmt":"2018-11-04T20:06:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=287983"},"modified":"2018-11-05T06:06:30","modified_gmt":"2018-11-04T20:06:30","slug":"separate-typhoon-debris-waste-for-pickup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/separate-typhoon-debris-waste-for-pickup\/","title":{"rendered":"Separate typhoon debris, waste for pickup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Saipan Mayor&#8217;s Office is currently roving villages, picking up green waste, tin and lumber, and will continue doing so until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>The CNMI government is asking the community&#8217;s assistance and cooperation to please separate waste into three piles in an effort to remove debris efficiently from villages so as to cover as much area as possible per day.<\/p>\n<p>Separate debris into the following categories:<\/p>\n<p>1. Green waste (trees, plants, shrubs)<\/p>\n<p>2. Tin (metal, roofing tin)<\/p>\n<p>3. Lumber (plywood, sheet wood)<\/p>\n<p>White goods (refrigerators, water heaters, washers, dryers, etc.) are not being picked up at the moment. A separate announcement will be made when this service is made available.<\/p>\n<p>All debris are to be placed 10 feet from public easements.<\/p>\n<p>Trucks will not be entering private property to remove debris. If waste is not placed along public easements, waste will not be removed.
