The Saipan Mayor’s Office is currently roving villages, picking up green waste, tin and lumber, and will continue doing so until further notice.<\/p>\n
The CNMI government is asking the community’s assistance and cooperation to please separate waste into three piles in an effort to remove debris efficiently from villages so as to cover as much area as possible per day.<\/p>\n
Separate debris into the following categories:<\/p>\n
1. Green waste (trees, plants, shrubs)<\/p>\n
2. Tin (metal, roofing tin)<\/p>\n
3. Lumber (plywood, sheet wood)<\/p>\n
White goods (refrigerators, water heaters, washers, dryers, etc.) are not being picked up at the moment. A separate announcement will be made when this service is made available.<\/p>\n
All debris are to be placed 10 feet from public easements.<\/p>\n
Trucks will not be entering private property to remove debris. If waste is not placed along public easements, waste will not be removed. (HSEM)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
