{"id":288150,"date":"2018-11-07T06:00:47","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T20:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=288150"},"modified":"2018-11-07T06:00:47","modified_gmt":"2018-11-06T20:00:47","slug":"displaced-residents-moved-to-longer-term-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/displaced-residents-moved-to-longer-term-site\/","title":{"rendered":"Displaced residents moved to longer-term site"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI government, in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, CNMI Public School System, and the American Red Cross, are providing transitional shelter assistance for displaced residents who are currently residing in some of the initial shelters opened since Super Typhoon Yutu.<\/p>\n<p>Transitional sheltering relief offers a more long-term accommodation for displaced residents who may require more time for recovery and restoration of their personal residence.<\/p>\n<p>Displaced residents who are currently sheltered at Marianas High School, DCCA Office on Aging (only overflow of population), Oleai Head Start, and Dandan Head Start will be transported by the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority to the new opening of the Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School facility today, Nov. 7, at 1:30pm. The first round of shelterees being transported to GTC will begin at 1:30pm.
