Ada\/Saipan International Airport will resume regular nighttime flights starting today, Tuesday, according to Commonwealth Ports Authority executive director Christopher S. Tenorio. <\/p>\n<p>In an interview last night, Tenorio said that, although there are no flights scheduled for tonight, the airport is already ready to receive nighttime flights. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re just waiting for the airlines to submit their flight schedule,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this development, Tenorio wouldn\u2019t say that everything is now okay because Super Typhoon Yutu caused so much havoc at the airport. \u201cWe\u2019re trying to make it okay to make the flights come in,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>CPA has already resumed regular daytime flights at the airport since last Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>So far, United Airlines is the only commercial aircraft that comes in with passengers. <\/p>\n<p>CPA said starting this Friday, Nov. 23, Hong Kong Express will resume flights from Hong Kong. <\/p>\n<p>Starting Nov. 26 and Nov. 28 Sichuan Airlines will resume flights from Guangzhou and Shanghai, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Starting Nov. 27, Jeju Air will resume its daily flights from Seoul, while China Eastern will resume flights from China.<\/p>\n<p>For the moment, the airport\u2019s control tower has been moved to a mobile tower.<\/p>\n<p>The commuter terminal remains inoperable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Francisco C.
