{"id":289567,"date":"2018-12-03T06:06:28","date_gmt":"2018-12-02T20:06:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=289567"},"modified":"2018-12-03T06:06:28","modified_gmt":"2018-12-02T20:06:28","slug":"lions-provides-meals-to-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/lions-provides-meals-to-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Lions provides meals to students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Filipino-American Lions Club handed out meals to students of the Nuestra Senora Bithen Delos Remedios Parish in Tanapag as part of its many programs last Saturday, Nov. 24.<\/p>\n<p>The Saipan Fil-American Lions Club fed the Confraternity Christian Doctrine students of Nuestra Senora Bithen Delos Remedios Parish after their classes as part of the Lions Clubs International Relieving the Hunger program. <\/p>\n<p>According to Lions Club International Region 2 chair and club president Annamae Adaza, the feeding program came at a perfect time as most people don\u2019t have time to cook. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs Lions, giving back to the community is our main thing.
