Students were greeted by faculty, staff, and student leaders, who helped distribute school supplies. Some students shared how they felt about returning to classes after Super Typhoon Yutu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am a Project PROA navigator, so I am looking forward to helping and engaging with other students. At Project PROA we provide mentoring and tutoring services so I\u2019m looking forward to helping students get back onto their academic path and to help them reach their academic goals.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Angeline Orsini, Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts with an Emphasis in Social Work<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited that we\u2019re on track toward normalcy at the college. It\u2019s great to see many of my peers again, but I\u2019m also excited for us to move back to NMC\u2019s main campus in As Terlaje.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Carriecarmen Pangelinan, Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBesides work and home, I\u2019m really excited to be busy again. It was both a restful and stressful month, so I\u2019m happy that NMC was able to resume its classes again.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Claude Cruz, Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s exciting to be in the same room as my classmates again. After a month of being apart, it\u2019s great to be back.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Derric Conde, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts with an Emphasis in Education<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrior to the storm, I was on track to graduate this fall so right now I am most excited about earning my associate degree in Liberal Arts.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Eligiah Camacho, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is my first year at NMC and even though the storm hit the college hard, I\u2019m very happy to be around other NMC students again.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Frantia Sablan, Associate in Science in Nursing<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m eager to get back to my classes and learn more. I\u2019m glad we\u2019re back to finish what we started.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2014Joey Cruz, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Besides my friends and teachers, I am looking forward to my Japanese class because it&#8217;s really fun and I&#8217;d like to learn more about the Japanese culture and the Japanese language.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Margaret Aldan, Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Rehabilitation and Human Services<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI actually missed studying so my classes are what I\u2019m really looking forward to as well as student clubs and activities throughout the remainder of the semester.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Minsung Kim, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI get to see all my friends and I missed my teachers too so I\u2019m really excited to see them as well.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014ReavenJei Cruz, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts\u2028<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinishing the semester is my primary goal but I\u2019m also looking forward to NMC rebuilding. I\u2019m also thankful that Southern gave us the space to host our classes here for the next two weeks.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2014Stephen Alonzo, Associate in Applied Science in Computer Science<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to get to back into classes and get back to our normal schedule.
