If found guilty, he could serve up to five years in prison.

His preliminary hearing is on Dec. 12; he will be arraigned on Dec. 17.

He was represented in court by assistant public defender Jean Pierre Nogues.

Police say that officers pulled over a white Toyota 4-runner on Dec. 3, at around 10:23am, for faulty taillights. After the vehicle pulled into the Winchell’s parking lot in Susupe, police officers talked to the car’s driver, Lionel Borja. Fabros was the passenger.

During the interaction, one of the police officers allegedly heard the sound of a glass object hitting the pavement from the passenger side.

Borja was asked to present his drivers license but couldn’t do so because it was in the back seat. Fabros told the police officer that he would grab the license for Borja. Fabros allegedly spotted throwing an object out the backseat window when he was reaching for the license.

One of the two police officers went around to the passenger seat area and spotted a clear Ziplock bag containing a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine.

The officer later spotted a second Ziplock bag containing several Ziplock bags and a green straw, and a clear glass pipe.

When the police officers asked Fabros what he threw outside, Fabros said he didn’t throw anything. Fabros was then arrested and was later brought to the Department of Corrections.

Borja was also detained but was released the following day, Dec. 4.

[4
162,22151,23443
post-289943","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-car","tag-jean-pierre-nogues","tag-lionel-borja
["GET
