Cabrera noted a similar timeline in a separate interview.

“The campus-sharing with Hopwood for sure would be until January 2019,” she said. “I believe the expected timeline is [sometime in] January 2019,” adding that she is not aware of a specific date ending the campus sharing.

Over 900 Hopwood students are currently using the MHS campus in the morning for their half-day double sessions, while the 1,550 students of MHS use the campus for their double-session classes in the afternoon.

“Hopefully everything goes back to normal when we move to our temporary classroom facilities in Koblerville,” Liwag said, without specifying the exact area in the village.

With campus sharing expected to last at least until next year, Cabrera noted that the cooperation between MHS and Hopwood staff is present, despite minor logistical problems.

“…I [believe] the transition went smoothly. When our students came, they were excited to be on campus and we were excited to see them,” she said, adding that today also highlighted the opening of the new MHS cafeteria.

Cabrera noted that sharing the campus with Hopwood went “smoothly” despite some electrical and maintenance problems. She noted that the issues were resolved with the coordination of Hopwood staffing.

“…We worked through it. We are a good team. So far it has been good. We were able to share resources and even able to share our staff in getting things done,” she said.

Campus sharing between the Marianas High School and Hopwood Middle School is expected to last…

[900
6379,365,38,23107
post-290126","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-featured","tag-hopwood-middle-school","tag-mhs","tag-saipan-tribune","tag-super-typhoon-yutu
["GET
