Apatang.<\/p>\n<p>Citing estimates of the Federal Emergency Management Agency during a recent windshield observation on Saipan, Apatang said: \u201cWe are getting there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apatang was given a deadline of until Jan. 15, 201,9 to pick up Yutu-related debris.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is why we are working very hard to meet that deadline,\u201d Apatang said. \u201cHopefully we could pick up as much [debris] as we could in that time.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As of yesterday, the Saipan mayor noted that they were still in the southern area of Saipan, which bore most of the brunt of Super Typhoon Yutu. The cleanup teams were finishing up San Antonio and Afetnas yesterday and are heading to As Lito up to the Northern Marianas College area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom [NMC], we would have to come back down and comb the areas of Oleai,\u201d he said.
