All six Lions Clubs that make up the Lions Club International District 4, Region 2 have banded together as sponsors of the 41st annual Simbang Gabi (Dawn Mass) at the Mt. Carmel Cathedral. <\/p>\n
According to Lions Club International District 4, Region 2 chair Annamae Adaza, the Lions sponsored the second night of the Simbang Gabi. <\/p>\n
Adaza added the Simbang Gabi is an annual activity that the entire club participates in and raises funds for charity.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe organizer is the Saipan Simbang Gabi Group, with nine coordinators\u2026 the second day was assigned to the Lions\u2026the role of the coordinators are to look for donors who will donate [cash] and all collections will be used for Saipan Simbang Gabi Group projects,\u201d said Adaza. <\/p>\n
In the previous year, the donations were used to aid schools in the Philippines. This year, all donations will be used to aid those affected by Super Typhoon Yutu. <\/p>\n
The LCI District 204, Region 2 is composed of six clubs with more than 30 members per club. The six Lions Clubs are Saipan Fil-American Lions Club, Saipan Unity Lions Club, Saipan Marianas Lions Club, Saipan Alliance Lions Club, Saipan Centennial Lions Club, and Saipan Natibu Lions Club. <\/p>\n
