(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A few more fighters signed up for Art of War 13: Submission Grappling Tournament that will take place tomorrow at the Trench Tech Gym in Garapan.<\/p>\n<p>In the purple belt absolute (Gi) division, Guam\u2019s Peter Carbullido and Saipan\u2019s Jose Mafnas are added on the competitors list and will be battling Rey Kim, Beng Masga, Ken Tanzawa, and Shane \u201cPikaboo\u201d Alvarez.  For the brown belt absolute, Guam\u2019s John Aguon Jr. is the latest addition and will be up against  compatriot Kenji Okiyama and Mark Smith and Trech Tech founder and Art of War 13 organizer Cuki Alvarez.<\/p>\n<p>In the two other divisions\u2014white and blue belts absolute\u2014the rosters are the same. Jasper Van Der Maas will headline the white belt competitors list, which also includes Kier Ada, Jose Quan, and Danny Feltner. The blue belt absolute has the most participants among the four divisions with six\u2014Jeff Garcia, Paulo Sangalang, Giovonni Taitingfong, Franklin Santos, Mark Nuique, and Guam\u2019s Phoenix Cannon.<\/p>\n<p>In the No Gi contest, the welterweight class (146 lbs to 165 lbs), drew the most competitors with eight. Gordon Salas was added on the list that has Sangalang, Nuique, Shane and Cuki, Okiyama, Taitingfong, and Tanzawa.<\/p>\n<p>Taitingfong is also entered in the No Gi lightweight division (100 lbs to 145 lbs) and will be squaring off against Franklin Santos and Piling Terlaje. In the middleweight (166 lbs to 185 lbs), Guam\u2019s Nick Brown and J.J. Ambross will be up against Kim, Tanzawa, Masga, Quan, and Van Der Maas.<\/p>\n<p>Masga and Van Der Maas will also compete in the light heavyweight class (186 lbs to 200 lbs) along with Cannon, Agda, and Ken Santos.
