I noticed in the article that the word &#8220;struggle&#8221; was mentioned five times, and I don&#8217;t recall mentioning that DPW was struggling. It sounded unappreciative of our own people who are hard at work restoring our islands to its beauty and cleanliness. I was asked as to what is the timeline for completing the typhoon debris cleanup, and I said I&#8217;m not sure at this time, and then I went on to say that the mayor and DPW (crew) are working hard to clean up the typhoon debris along roadways, and you&#8217;re absolutely right, they all deserve our deepest appreciation and gratitude, and our dangkulu na si&#8217; yu&#8217;us ma&#8217;ase goes to the mayor of Saipan, the secretary of the Department of Public Works, and the hard-working men and women from these agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you and happy new year!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2028Enrique Dela Cruz<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Director, Solid Waste Management.
