The new year 2019 is here moving quickly past the old
\naround the world people give and get happy greetings
\nof the year gone by memories stories are now being told
\na year of hopeful progress in Congressional meetings
\nWhat about those new year resolutions being made
\npromises to self and others of all kinds of change
\nmany forgotten quickly others as days and weeks fade
\na few reasonable ones last, others way out of range
\nThen there is passage of time as things grow older
\nhopefully still learning our minds maturing and growing
\nbody growing stronger or now senior citizen card holder
\nsome totally unaware in denial, some just not knowing
\nThe universe and earth continue to fly through space
\nas the space time continuum keeps increasing the pace.<\/p>\n
