This relief was a united effort by all those who live off-island and still hold Tinian in their hearts. <\/p>\n<p>VOICES of the CNMI-Tinian Chapter and Team Koka is also proud to announce that they will be holding a \u201cDay of Acceptance\u201d fundraiser at the end of the month.  <\/p>\n<p>The Day of Acceptance falls on Jan. 20, a day dedicated to the social acceptance of disability and to honor the late Annie Hopkins. She was the founder of International Symbol of Acceptance.  <\/p>\n<p>The self-advocacy groups will hold a Family Fun Night on Jan. 25 for individuals with disabilities and families 21 years and under. <\/p>\n<p>A dinner fundraiser \u201cDine for Disabilities\u201d on Jan. 26 at Pop\u2019z Restaurant, Tinian strictly for 21 years and above will include a raffle drawing and silent auction.  If you are willing to donate for the auction, purchase dinner tickets or interested in volunteering, please contact teamkokacnmi@gmail.com; Monika or Mikaela Diaz.<\/p>\n<p>They will also be selling \u201cRibbons for A Reason\u201d at $1 each which the color of the ribbon symbolizes a certain disability.
