{"id":291587,"date":"2019-01-10T06:00:06","date_gmt":"2019-01-09T20:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=291587"},"modified":"2019-01-10T06:00:06","modified_gmt":"2019-01-09T20:00:06","slug":"rotary-selects-officers-for-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/rotary-selects-officers-for-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Rotary selects officers for 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rotary Club of Saipan announced that a brand-new set of officers to serve for the Rotarian Year 2019 through 2020 has been elected.<\/p>\n<p>Rotary president Greg Borja told members last Tuesday that the club\u2019s selection of officers has officially ended with Rotary president-elect Sonya Dancoe as the club\u2019s 2019-2020 president.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in three years, current vice president Brian Clayton would be stepping down from his position and will become the club\u2019s Community Service director. <\/p>\n<p>In Clayton\u2019s stead, Sean Ficke was elected 2019-2020 club vice president. <\/p>\n<p>Tatiana Babauta was elected club secretary, Dave Guerrero was re-elected treasurer, and Curtis Dancoe was elected sergeant-at-arms. <\/p>\n<p>Frank Celis was elected Club Service director, while Ivan Ilmov was elected New Generations director, Yosh Gabaldon is now the Vocational Service director, Borja is international service director, and Nelson Krum is the Rotary Foundation director.<\/p>\n<p>The elections were done last Dec. 18, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview, Borja noted that the new officers are a highly motivated group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe officers and directors are very motivated Rotarians.
