Super Typhoon Yutu has forced the Rotary Club of Saipan to reschedule the 2018 edition of its Las Vegas Night to the first quarter of 2019.<\/p>\n
Club president Greg Borja confirmed Tuesday that the 2018 Las Vegas night, the club\u2019s largest annual fundraising event, has been already scheduled for March 23, 2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are going to do a St. Patrick\u2019s Day theme,\u201d Borja said.<\/p>\n
The club is still looking to secure a venue for the event. \u201cOur regular venue is still undergoing renovation,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n
Las Vegas Night has been traditionally held at the Saipan World Resort\u2019s Royal Tagal Ballroom in Susupe.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2026We are trying to look for other areas and we would [release the information] as soon as possible once we figure out where our venue is going to be,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Borja noted that the club has stopped selling tickets for the event since they did not want to print tickets out without information on the venue.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe prizes will remain the same,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n
The raffle prizes for the Las Vegas Night almost always includes $10,000 or a car for the grand prize, $5,000 for second, and $3,000 for third, along with door prizes and several other minor prizes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
