Residents of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands have one week left to register for federal disaster assistance for damage from Typhoon Mangkhut and Super Typhoon Yutu. <\/p>\n
The deadline to register with FEMA is Jan. 27, 2019. <\/p>\n
A FEMA registration has a nine-digit number. If you do not have the nine-digit number, you are not registered for federal assistance.
\nThose who suffered impacts to their primary residences and have not registered with FEMA may do so either of three ways:
\n\u2022 On-line at DisasterAssistance.gov
\n\u2022 Call the FEMA Helpline at 1- (800) 621-3362
\n\u2022 Go to the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) <\/p>\n
The DRC located at the Multi-Purpose Center on Beach Road in Susupe, is open 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Closed on Sunday. <\/p>\n
The DRC will be closed on Monday, Jan 21, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr, Holiday. <\/p>\n
