(PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>I Kumision i Fino\u2019 CHamoru meeting tomorrow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to extenuating circumstances, the Kumision i Fino\u2019 CHamoru yan i Fina\u2019n\u00e5guen i Historia yan Lina\u2019la Taotao Tano\u2019 (I Kumision i Fino\u2019 CHamoru) has moved its Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 meeting to the usual time, tomorrow, Jan. 24, from 12:30pm to 3pm at its Hagat\u00f1a location, the Garden House at the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a.<br \/>\nAgenda includes 1. Logistics for the Mina\u2019 Dos Fina\u2019che\u2019cho\u2019 on Friday, 1\/25\/19; and, 2. Approval of previous meeting minutes. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline to register with FEMA Jan. 27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Residents of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands only have until Jan. 27 to register for federal disaster assistance for damage from Typhoon Mangkhut and Super Typhoon Yutu.<\/p>\n<p>A FEMA registration has a nine-digit number. If you do not have the nine-digit number, you are not registered for federal assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Those who suffered impacts to their primary residences and have not registered with FEMA may do so either of three ways:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tOn-line at DisasterAssistance.gov<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tCall the FEMA Helpline at 1- (800) 621-3362<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tGo to the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)<br \/>\nThe DRC located at the Multi-Purpose Center on Beach Road in Susupe, is open 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Closed on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The DRC will be closed on Monday, Jan 21, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr, Holiday.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember, applicants should have the following information at hand:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tSocial Security number.<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tAddress of the damaged primary residence.<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tDescription of the damage.<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tInformation about insurance coverage if applicable.<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tA current contact telephone number.<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tAn address where they can receive mail.<br \/>\n\t\u2022\tBank account and routing numbers for direct deposit of funds. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Triple J Saipan 5k Bubble Color Run\/Walk on Feb. 23<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Triple J Saipan 5k Bubble Color Run\/Walk is set for Feb. 23. Early bird registration opens from Feb. 1 to the 22 until 4pm the last day for a rate of $10 per registrant. <\/p>\n<p>Locations for registration to be released soon so follow Triple J affiliates (Triple J Motors, Great Harvest Bread Co. Saipan, Surf Club Restaurant, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Saipan, Capricciosa and Tony Roma\u2019s) on social media for the most up-to-date information. Triple J will give away a few free bibs for runners to join the foamiest color run on Saipan so follow us on Facebook and Instagram for contest details.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the second annual TJ5K 2019 Bubble Color Run\/Walk will go to the event\u2019s two beneficiaries, the Make-A-Wish\u00ae Foundation, aiding them in their mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening diseasesm; and the Commonwealth Cancer Association as they continue in their mission to promote cancer awareness and prevention, providing patient support services, and serving as the liaison and advocate for cancer issues in the CNMI and the region.<\/p>\n<p>Triple J Saipan, Inc. would like to extend sincere gratitude to CRM\/BECQ, DLNR, Parks &amp; Recs, DPS, DFEMS and MVA for each entity\u2019s partnership to ensure safety of public and event participants is foremost as well as TRAC for their support with accurate route measurements and recording precise times of all 1,000+ anticipated participants.
