(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Grace Christian Academy\u2019s Kinder to 12th grade Eagles\u201417 Primary Grades Forensic Conference, four National Junior Speech and Debate Association, and six National Speech and Debate Association competitors\u2014won several awards in January, the last monthly qualifying competition for all grade level categories held in different schools in Saipan. <\/p>\n<p>Some won in two or all events and most of them won at least one event that they joined. These competitions encourage public and private school students to participate in and become proficient in reading, public speaking, debate, and interpretations.<\/p>\n<p>GCA\u2019s 12th grader Sumin Melody Woo, now a veteran in speech competition since elementary and has experience competing in the national competition, said she is glad that they were given more time to prepare for the October competition to make up for the last month\u2019s cancelled competition due to bad weather. \u201cWith all of our victories, I hope us Eagles can be motivated to do our utmost best in next month\u2019s competitions, she added.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The GCA family would like to thank especially the GCA competitors for doing the best they can in accomplishing their goals and to all the parents, volunteer judges, and coaches for their support and all the help they have given in these competitions.<\/p>\n<p>The winners posed for a souvenir photo inside the Rev. Raymond S. Kinsella Library at Navy Hill school campus, Saipan.
