MONROYO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Inter Godfather\u2019s drew goals from three different players to blank Kanoa FC, 3-0, as the spring season games in the 2014 M-League continued last Sunday at the Oleai Sports Complex.<br \/>\nInter drilled back-to-back goals in a span of two minutes with Peter Loken scoring in the 13th minute and Arkie Reusora also finding the back of the net in the 15th. Masatoshi Otsuka was the third Inter Godfather\u2019s player to break into the scoreboard with his goal in the 34th, lifting the team to a good lead at the break.<\/p>\n<p>The younger crew of Kanoa FC never threatened a comeback in the second half, as it struggled against the tough defense of the more experienced and heftier Inter Godfather\u2019s players.<\/p>\n<p>Sun Palace 4, Women\u2019s National Team 2<br \/>\nIn the first game last Sunday, Sun Palace defeated the CNMI Women\u2019s National Team.<br \/>\nQing Long Yu towed Sun Palace to victory with his hat-trick, while Heng Guo Piao contributed one goal.<br \/>\nYu got his first goal right in the second minute of the match, while Piao made it two in a row for Sun Palace six minutes later. Lalaine Pagarao then answered back for the Women\u2019s National Team in the 10th minute trim down Sun Palace\u2019s lead, but Yu scored anew six minutes later to lift his team to a 3-1 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p>A goal from Sarah Allen in the 62nd minute moved the Women\u2019s National Team within one, again, but Yu saved the day for Sun Palace hitting the insurance in the 83rd minute.<\/p>\n<p>KFAS 3, Paire 1<br \/>\nIn the second game, Korean Football Association on Saipan topped Paire.<br \/>\nBrian Lee made a pair of goals to lead KFAS to victory. Chong Koo Gil drained the other goal for KFAS, while Ajani Burrell scored for Paire.<\/p>\n<p>Burrell\u2019s goal in the 42nd gave Paire its first and only taste of the lead, as Gil knotted the count in the second half with his goal in the 56th. Lee then broke the tie 20 minutes later with his first goal and then logged another one in the 80th.<\/p>\n<p>In the final game last Sunday, Shirley\u2019s FC shut out the Thundercats, 2-0.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Phan and Kosuke Sato registered one goal apiece in Shirley\u2019s FC\u2019s win. The two also scored in Shirley\u2019s 5-2 triumph over the Women\u2019s National Team last Feb. 25. Sato was unstoppable in last week\u2019s game, bagging four goals, while Phan added one.
