Blanco is grateful for having served on the board since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Ralph DLG Torres and Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios recently accepted Blanco\u2019s courtesy resignation. <\/p>\n<p>The administration also accepted Zoning board member George M. Fleming Jr.\u2019s courtesy resignation.<\/p>\n<p>Blanco said yesterday he is honored and thankful for the opportunity to serve under Torres\u2019 administration. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Zoning office is very fortunate to have a very capable administrator and zoning staff. Best wishes to the Torres\/Palacios administration,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about his plans, Blanco said he wants \u201cto be happy and go fishing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blanco was elected Zoning board chair six times since he was first appointed to the board in 2012. <\/p>\n<p>Last Nov. 18, Torres issued a memorandum asking all Cabinet members, board members and commission members to submit courtesy resignation letters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former CNMI Zoning board chair Diego C.
