The CNMI Drug Court\u2019s upcoming graduation is expected to be the first of its kind as it will feature an all-female batch.<\/p>\n
According to Drug Court judge Theresa Kim-Tenorio, the upcoming Drug Court would be both coincidental and special: It coincides with Women\u2019s Month and features a group of women who went through the recovery process and succeeded. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe have an upcoming graduation and\u2026our graduates are all women and our keynote speaker will be [first ] lady Diann Torres,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n
Aside from the graduating batch being all women, it is also special because as it serves as a celebration of sobriety and recovery. <\/p>\n
After the graduation the Drug Court will officially have 25 graduates. <\/p>\n
Tenorio said there are still several on the waiting list and there are currently around 39 still undergoing the process of recovery. <\/p>\n
The fifth Drug Court graduation is scheduled for March 15 at 2pm and it will be held at the American Memorial Park theater. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
