The same MP United player with jersey No. 50 gave their team insurance in the 53rd minute, as she negated the back-to-back goals recorded by Anisa Villagomez.

Meanwhile, Kanoa FC and TanHoldings FC engaged in a draw, 4-4, in the other girls U16 division match played at the NMISTC.

Kanoa forced a standoff after mounting a comeback in the second half, which started with TanHoldings holding a 3-1 advantage.

TanHoldings was in control of the first half of the game, thanks to Julie Anna Capayas, Mary Joy Aniana, and Allyssa Angeles’s goals in the seventh, 18th, and 21st minute, respectively.
