The movie chosen has to be related to their lessons and will be a part of their class activities,” she added.

Liwag said the movie tickets were allotted to 6th to 8th graders. “This will definitely help promote literacy and encourage school spirit. Our school is working closely with the Rotary Club of Saipan with our school initiatives to promote literacy, culture, and improve attendance,”

“We believe that an educational movie where students can learn from is a good incentive that will motivate and push them to strive harder,” she added.

Liwag said Hopwood appreciates the Rotary Club of Saipan for their effort in inspiring the children to be better.

“We thank the Rotary for being our partner in promoting the school’s initiatives and their generosity in providing students an activity that they will enjoy doing and learning at the same time,” she said.

“We would also like to thank for them accommodating our 900 students,” she added.

Hopwood Middle School students were recently treated to a movie at the Hollywood Theater in…

[900

post-295817","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-featured
["GET
