{"id":295882,"date":"2019-03-21T06:00:27","date_gmt":"2019-03-20T20:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=295882"},"modified":"2019-03-21T06:00:27","modified_gmt":"2019-03-20T20:00:27","slug":"police-probe-burglary-at-ex-chief-prosecutors-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/police-probe-burglary-at-ex-chief-prosecutors-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Police probe burglary at ex-chief prosecutor\u2019s house"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police are investigating the burglary at the house of former chief prosecutor Michele Harris in Papago.<\/p>\n<p>As of press time last night, Department of Public Safety spokesperson Adrian Pangelinan had yet to release details about the case.<\/p>\n<p>DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau chief Jeffrey Olopai said that, as of yesterday, investigators were still gathering information about the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Harris has been off-island since March 11 and just came back on Saipan Tuesday night, a source said.<\/p>\n<p>Harris reported the burglary Tuesday past 9pm. There is no information yet as to what items were stolen.<\/p>\n<p>Last January, Attorney General Edward Manibusan announced the appointment of Harris as consumer counsel of the Office of the Attorney General.<\/p>\n<p>Harris was hired as chief prosecutor of the OAG in January 2017.
