{"id":295989,"date":"2019-03-22T06:04:15","date_gmt":"2019-03-21T20:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=295989"},"modified":"2019-03-22T06:04:15","modified_gmt":"2019-03-21T20:04:15","slug":"rotary-welcomes-yulo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/rotary-welcomes-yulo\/","title":{"rendered":"Rotary welcomes Yulo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rotary Club of Saipan welcomed Tuesday their fifth new member in 2019, Ryan Yulo, an auditor of the Ernst &amp; Young auditing firm.<br \/>\nRotary Club of Saipan president-elect Marcia Ayuyu acted as Yulo\u2019s sponsor and affixed the club\u2019s pin on his lapel during the induction, making him the Rotary\u2019s fifth inducted member for 2019. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe and admire the mission and vision of the club, which is mainly to help serve others and help build a better world,\u201d he said. \u201cAs a new member, I will do my best to help the club achieve this goal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yulo was inducted under the accounting services classification.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have been invited to join the Rotary Club of Saipan but it is through your own actions that you become a Rotarian,\u201d club president Greg Borja said in a short speech. \u201cWe encourage you to learn all you can about the Rotary and to strengthen your own leadership and communication skills by actively participating in the activities of the club including attending weekly meetings, social events, and service projects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yulo was inducted last Tuesday right after the Rotary Club of Saipan inducted three additional members to its ranks: Joann Aquino, sponsored by Tatiana Babauta; Wendell Posadas, sponsored by Agnes McPhetres; and Das Krishnan, sponsored by Dave Sablan Sr. About two weeks prior, the Rotary Club of Saipan also inducted former member, Irene N.
