All CNMI high school students are being encouraged to participate in this year\u2019s Western Governors\u2019 Association High School Art Competition. <\/p>\n
The theme of this year\u2019s WGA High School Art Competition is \u201cCelebrate the West.\u201d <\/p>\n
Artwork should convey how the student is inspired by their state or territory. <\/p>\n
The contest is open to all high school students from one of the member states of the Western Governors\u2019 Association: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.<\/p>\n
Eligible contestants must be in grades 9 to 12, enrolled in a public, private, charter or alternative school, or home schooled. Winning artists will receive cash prizes. Winning artwork will also be featured on the WGA website and displayed at an upcoming WGA meeting. <\/p>\n
The deadline to enter the competition is April 28, 2019. Students can submit a digital copy of their artwork via email to WGAart@westgov.org. <\/p>\n
Entries must be in in one of the following formats: PNG, JPG, PDF, BMP, TIF. <\/p>\n
Students can also mail a photograph of their artwork to Western Governors\u2019 Association, 2019 Art Competition, 1600 Broadway, Suite 1700, Denver Colorado 80202. <\/p>\n
