Taisacan, 29, failed to appear for his arraignment last Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Presiding Judge Robert Naraja ordered the issuance of the bench warrant but later agreed to hold off on it at the request of Taisacan\u2019s court-appointed lawyer, Joey Patrick San Nicolas.<\/p>\n<p>San Nicolas had asked to be given the opportunity to contact his client and to hold the warrant in abeyance. <\/p>\n<p>Office of the Attorney General\u2019s Frances Demapan did not oppose the request. <\/p>\n<p>Naraja granted the request and rescheduled Taisacan\u2019s arraignment to April 15. <\/p>\n<p>According to the allegation, Taisacan took candy bars and drinks having a value of less than $250 from a Shell gas station in Susupe without paying for the items on June 12, 2018.
