{"id":297115,"date":"2019-04-09T06:06:28","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T20:06:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=297115"},"modified":"2019-04-09T06:06:28","modified_gmt":"2019-04-08T20:06:28","slug":"10k-bail-for-five-teens-who-allegedly-stole-tv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/10k-bail-for-five-teens-who-allegedly-stole-tv\/","title":{"rendered":"$10K bail for five teens who allegedly stole TV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Superior Court imposed a $10,000 bail for each of the five juveniles who allegedly broke into a home and stole a flat screen television. <\/p>\n<p>According to Department of Public Safety spokesperson Adrian Pangelinan, Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph Camacho issued on April 2, 2019, the arrest warrants for all five juveniles allegedly involved in a burglary and theft in Garapan, and set a bail of $10,000 for each of them. <\/p>\n<p>All five have been arrested and are now facing charges of burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary and theft.<\/p>\n<p>In a DPS press release, it said that police dispatch received a 911 call on March 26 at around 11:32pm, regarding a possible burglary and theft incident in Garapan. <\/p>\n<p>The DPS Koban\u2014community police\u2014was immediately dispatched to Phoenix Gardens in Garapan. <\/p>\n<p>Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects gained entry into a guest house by forcing a door open and a flat screen TV had been stolen.  <\/p>\n<p>At 2:14am of the same day, officers conducted a follow-up routine check at the guest house and noticed the interior lights were turned on and air-conditioning units were running inside. <\/p>\n<p>The police officers discovered the five juveniles inside the guest house  and arrested them. <\/p>\n<p>The suspects allegedly confessed to the burglary.  <\/p>\n<p>Because the suspects are considered juvenile, details including their names, age, and gender could not be disclosed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Superior Court imposed a $10,000 bail for each of the five juveniles who&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":24,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[406],"class_list":["post-297115","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-tv"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/297115","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/24"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=297115"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/297115\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=297115"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=297115"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=297115"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
