(MVA)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>For the second straight year, Teteto Beach on the island of Rota was selected as the No. 1 Readers\u2019 Choice Best Beach at the Dive and Travel Awards of the annual Marine Diving Fair in Japan on April 5-7, 2019. <\/p>\n<p>In addition, Megumi Takaku of Blue Palms Dive Service Rota won first place Readers\u2019 Choice Favorite Dive Guide, Overseas, adding accolades to her second-place last year, and Blue Palms won second place, Readers\u2019 Choice Favorite Dive Operator, Overseas. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again, Rota is setting the standard in the industry for extraordinary dive and beach experiences and exceptional customer care,\u201d said Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. \u201c\u201cI, myself, have had the privilege of diving [on] Rota, and I have to say that Rota has the best visibility of any of the islands in the Marianas. The coral reefs, sea life and unique underwater formations make Rota a dive haven. We can all look to the care of the Rota community for the cleanliness and protection of their natural resources and to their hospitality and care for each visitor as an example of what we can offer visitors to each of the islands. \u2026We have much to be proud of.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>In addition, Saipan, Tinian, and Rota combined won fourth place for the second year in a row as Readers\u2019 Choice Best Diving Area, Overseas, and Managaha won 10th place in Readers\u2019 Choice Best Beach. <\/p>\n<p>Diving opportunities on Rota and throughout the Marianas were touted by the MVA to over 50,000 attendees at the fair, which is Japan\u2019s leading consumer diving show, targeting consumers and trade representatives in Japan and other Asian countries. The fair was held at the Ikebukuro Sunshine City Convention Center in Tokyo. <\/p>\n<p>The MVA hosted an information booth at the event in the \u201cOcean, Islands and Travel\u201d section.
