On Saturday, April 20, everyone is invited to join American Memorial Park from 9am to 12pm to celebrate Junior Ranger Day and help kick off National Park Week. <\/p>\n
In addition to featuring the art created by participants during the annual Art-in-the-Park program, the community is welcome to join artists in several art stations. There will also be a, \u201cchalk walk\u201d from 9am to 11am. All ages are invited to create masterpieces along portions of the park\u2019s sidewalks in chalk. Join Pacific Historic Parks as they lead this interactive activity. <\/p>\n
Youths of all ages will also have the opportunity to become junior rangers. Throughout the morning visit the ranger station and pick up a junior ranger booklet. Those who complete the activity become American Memorial Park Junior Rangers and receive a special badge. <\/p>\n
