In addition to this amount, $146,304 in funds from a previous program year was authorized for continued use through March 31, 2020. <\/p>\n<p>The federally funded program helps reduce energy costs for low-income households by allowing them to replace refrigerators, window air conditioning units, light bulbs, and install smoke\/carbon monoxide detectors. <\/p>\n<p>Priority is given to the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and families with children. WAP services are free to households meeting criteria based on total household income and acceptable housing. <\/p>\n<p>To qualify, the total household income shall not exceed the maximum income as stated at energy.guam.gov\/programs-2.
