{"id":298334,"date":"2019-04-26T06:06:07","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T20:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=298334"},"modified":"2019-04-26T06:06:07","modified_gmt":"2019-04-25T20:06:07","slug":"maryann-borja-arriola-is-new-ovr-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/maryann-borja-arriola-is-new-ovr-director\/","title":{"rendered":"Maryann Borja- Arriola is new  OVR director"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maryann Borja-Arriola has been appointed to head the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation as director.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, Borja-Arriola served as a grants specialist under the Office of Grants Management and State Clearinghouse, helping secure grant projects such as the $3.2 million award for the CNMI Veterans\u2019 Cemetery, as well as several youth initiatives like the San Vicente Park project and the revitalization of the Koblerville Youth Center.<\/p>\n<p>She was also instrumental in the coordination of the CNMI\u2019s first Disability Sports Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaryann has played a vital role\u2026as an advocate for education, the CNMI youth, and individuals with disabilities,\u201d said Gov.
